Our History
Precision Rebuilders opened for business in a small shop in North St. Louis, Missouri in September of 1961. From the very beginning there was a commitment to quality products and service as the primary aim of the new venture.
During the next two decades, as the trucking industry grew and brake systems improved, production facilities were expanded to keep up with the increasing demand for quality replacement parts. We increased our production to include a broad line of remanufactured compressors, valves, brake chambers and boosters from a variety of OEM manufacturers.
1981 brought more growth to Precision
Rebuilders. A need for more space took us approximately 50 miles
southwest of St. Louis to our new base of operations in St. Clair,
MO. In 1988, remanufactured heavy duty starters and alternators
were added
to our product line, as well as heavy duty water pumps in 1992.
